As promised, images from my first summer art class;
Welcome to My World. We took inspiration from children's literature (think
The Little Prince,
Where the Wild Things Are) and created mixed media islands. The projects were all
A M A Z I N G and we had so much fun. The kids were all such a delight to work with and I've never been in the midst of so many missing front teeth in my life which is out of control adorable!

Wow! Those islands look awesome! What a rewarding and fun time you must have had. Kids that age are so full of wonder and energy, you will probably learn as much as they will this summer. Enjoy... : )

Wow. Those islands are so inspiring! I teach a summer art camp with only a few days left. I wish I had time to do something like this. Next summer! Thanks so much for the inspiration.
