tea: a review and a GIVEAWAY!

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to do a review of Tea's boys clothing.  They are a really special company that not only makes beautiful and high quality clothing but also believes in being a good global citizen.  This is reflected in their globally inspired children's clothing lines as well as through their philanthropic efforts for children's causes around the world. You can read more about Tea's values on their website.  I got my box of Tea a week or so ago.  I picked out pieces that would work well for the summer to fall transition and I couldn't be happier with them. Comfy soft shorts with big pockets for little treasures, a perfect hooded linen popover for Jude that quickly became his favorite shirt and a gorgeous cotton sweater for Oscar, just right for cool August nights.  Here are some pictures of them in and around Stockholm (Wisconsin) our favorite little corner of the world.

These clothes are clean and classic, with an earthy but sophisticated palette.  They somehow manage to be highly comfortable without being sloppy.  The materials are very high quality and the craftsmanship is excellent.  I've had several pieces of Tea clothing for my boys in the past and I have found them to be extremely durable...the kind that you can easily expect two kids to be able to wear.  I can honestly say that my kids are really quite fond of these new clothes too.

A N D    N O W ,  dear readers I have something special for you!  Leave a comment here on this post and you are entered to win a $75 gift certificate from Tea!  Yeah, you heard me right!

(I'll announce a winner on Monday August 15th)

Erika,

I didn't know you were such a talented writer as well. My TEA catalogue has been sitting on my old Hoosier cabinet for a week or so now . . . it has been calling to me, but I just haven't taken the time to peruse it yet. This post has inspired me. I'm especially drawn to the hoodie. Interested in how you got connected to Tea. And, may I ask what the buntings with all the colorful flags by the little pavilion were celebrating? Looks like a photographer's dream.

I love Tea. They are some of the only clothes I'll buy new. I like to test-drive expensive kids clothes via the thrift store to see how they'll wear. Then I just get a couple essentials.

Your kids are so amazingly cute.

Oooh! Love Tea. Harriet has two of their dresses. The first one I got a second for her BF Evie. Can I post a picture somewhere on this thing?? She looks awesome in it, gets complimentseverywhere she goes. Oh, I forgot she also has this great picasso inspired knit shirt/dress with navy and white stripes. Saving it for her first day of kindergarten (2012, I know, I'm crazy) but seriously? It is going to look fabulous w her red hair. Cannot wait. I think I might be one of the few moms out there looking forward to the first day of kindergarten. : )
